EEU membership may enable Armenia linking EEU countries and the Western businesses

As a Eurasian Economic Union member state Armenia can link the EEU countries and the business communities of the West, Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan said at the international media forum “At the Foot of Ararat” on Wednesday.
YEREVAN, March 19. /ARKA/. As a Eurasian Economic Union member state Armenia can link the EEU countries and the business communities of the West, Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan said at the international media forum “At the Foot of Ararat” on Wednesday.
The world is moving toward formation of a single economic area, and it is senseless to set different integration models against one another amid globalization, the president said.
Being a member of the European family and sharing the European values, Armenia is making every step to deepen its relations with European countries and the West as a whole, Sargsyan said.
Sargsyan also said that serious achievements were made through Armenia-EU cooperation with a particular focus on large-scale reforms.
“We intend to maintain these achievements and further develop them through new initiatives,”, the Armenian president said. –0--
