Evans: Armenia’s membership in Eurasian Economic Union to have no impacts on Yerevan-Washington economic relations
YEREVAN, September 30. /ARKA/. Armenia's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union will have no impacts on economic relations between Yerevan and Washington, John Evans, a former U.S. ambassador to Armenia, said in an online interview with Novosti Armenia.

In his words, officials in Washington who deal with such matters know very well about geopolitical circumstances in the region.

The ambassador is quoted by Novosti Armenia as saying that he doesn't think Armenia's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union can be a major obstacle to trade or investments.

The online interview was organized as part of Dialogue International Press Center's project 'Diversification of International Information Sources for Armenian Media'.

This project of the Region Research Center is supported by the OSCE Office in Yerevan. ---0----
