Armenia’s proposals on the Riga Summit Declaration were accepted with understanding, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan said in an interview with Radio Liberty while commenting on Yerevan and Minsk disagreement on ‘illegal annexation of Crimea’ wording in the final document.

YEREVAN, May 25. /ARKA/. Armenia’s proposals on the Riga Summit Declaration were accepted with understanding, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan said in an interview with Radio Liberty while commenting on Yerevan and Minsk disagreement on ‘illegal annexation of Crimea’ wording in the final document.
“There were some wording, some clauses in the general declaration, on which different countries had different stances, and it is natural that we have our own opinion,” the minister said in his interview.
«I can't speak on behalf of Belarus, but the Armenia-proposed ideas were accepted with understanding, and I can say that many of them were accepted and reflected in this declaration.»
The European Union's Eastern Neighborhood Program implies political association and economic integration of the European Union with Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
In 2014, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine signed the agreement of associated partnership with the European Union. ---0----
