YEREVAN, January 1. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed today the former governor of the Ararat province Garik Sargsyan as chairman of the State Property Management Committee.

Garik Sargsyan has replaced Narek Babayan (Babayan is the husband of deputy speaker of the Armenian parliament Lena Nazaryan).

Garik Sargsyan was appointed as head of the Ararat province on June 1, 2018. Sargsyan became famous after his sensational statement about his intention to create a crocodile farm in the Ararat region. Even a land plot had been allotted for the farm, but no farm has been founded since then. --0--
