YEREVAN, September 23. /ARKA/. It seems the number of officials in Armenia who are unhappy about new premier Karen Karapetyan’s reshuffle in the government is growing, according to Zhoghovurd.
In the publication authors’ opinion, the new prime minister is trying not to appoint members of the ruling
Republican Party of Armenia to positions in the government.
Karen Karapetyan will put the new government’s program to the National Assembly’s floor in two weeks.
Levon Martirosyan, a member of the ruling party told the newspaper that Armenian Republicans intend to uphold the program.
“In any case, the Republican Party of Armenia is responsible for the government - whoever are appointed, they will represent the majority, and it means that the majority’s approval is ensured,” he said.
Martirosyan is convinced that other factions will uphold the program as well. --0---
