Government approves procedure for holding meetings of Armenian, Azerbaijani border delimitation commissions
YEREVAN, December 14. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has approved today a procedure for organizing and holding meetings of Armenian and Azerbaijani border delimitation and security commissions.
Deputy Justice Minister Ara Mkrtchyan said the procedure, which is to be approved by the governments of both countries, establishes the date, time and place of meeting of the commissions.
Mkrtchyan emphasized that usually the sessions of the commissions are held on the border of the two countries, in a third country, as well as via videoconference.
The Deputy Minister said that the procedure also establishes other necessary regulations.
"As a result of the approval of the procedure, the members of the commissions will be given an opportunity to create a basis for the delimitation and demarcation of their border," he said.
The fifth meeting of the commissions chaired by deputy prime ministers of both countries was held on November 30 on a section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. -0-
