YEREVAN, October 13. /ARKA/. Tigran Sargsyan, the chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission board and a former Armenian prime minister, spoke recently at Armenia Investment forum in New York.
Zhoghovurd newspaper finds this fact remarkable, since after Sargsyan resigned as Armenian premier Armenia he was a distanced politician working outside the country.
According to the newspaper, it will become clear soon whether Sargsyan will come back to Armenia’s political arena, of the forum was a short-term return.
The authors of the publication say that although Tigran Sargsyan has held the prime-ministerial seat over six years, but he has failed to shape the cabinet at his own discretion.
In their opinion, he wanted but ‘failed to get rid of two Gagiks – Gagik Khachatryan, former finance minister, and Gagik Beglaryan, former transport and communications minister.
They also think that Hovik Abrahamyan ‘exiled’ Tigran Sargsyan far from Armenia’s political arena and now there is ground for his return, especially taking into account that he arrived in Yerevan from New York along with Serzh Sargsyan, Armenian president. --0---
