Head of Armenia’s State Property Management Committee dismissed and appointed as head of Vedi community

YEREVAN, Jan. 5. /ARKA/. Gagik Sargsyan has been dismissed as chairman of the State Property Management Committee of Armenia by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

By another decree, Pashinyan appointed him as acting head of Vedi Community in Ararat province.

On January 4, the government of Armenia decided to terminate the powers of the head of Vedi community and hold early elections to the community’s Council of Elders.

The December 5, 2021, local self-government body election to the community’s Council of Elders was won by My Strong Community party. -0-
