Karabakh president – the path we have taken irreversible

STEPANAKERT, December 10. /ARKA/. The president of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Bako Sahakyan congratulated citizens on the Day of Referendum on Independence and Constitution that is marked in NKR on December 10.
December 10 opened the doors to a new path and announced the unfaltering determination of Artsakh (the Armenian name for Karabakh - ARKA) people to build a free and independent civil society based on democracy, human and national values, the head of the state said.
“The path we have taken is irreversible now as it is a path of the just, sanctified by the blood of our heroes. We are obliged to make everyday efforts to strengthen our statehood, to develop our economy and to improve living conditions of the people. We are obliged to make wishes and expectations of our people come true while following the laws and creating a strong law-governed state”, the president said.
This is the only way toward prosperity in Artsakh, international recognition and integration in the global community, Sahakyan said.
“We are glad to see Artsakh has, from one year to another, more and more friends who respect and value the decision and efforts of our citizens towards democratization. It is a long-lasting process that will, no doubt, come to a logical end when Artsakh will find its place among sovereign and developed countries”, NKR’s president said. –0--
