An Armenian daily Haykakan Zhamanak (Armenian Time) says, citing its own sources that an employee of the Public Television Karen Hakobyan will be appointed as press secretary for the National Security Service.
YEREVAN, January 22. /ARKA. An Armenian daily Haykakan Zhamanak (Armenian Time) says, citing its own sources that an employee of the Public Television Karen Hakobyan will be appointed as press secretary for the National Security Service.
"In fact, Hakobyan is an employee of the National Security Council and was incorporated into the Public Television to oversee everything that happened there,’ the daily claims.
The daily says after the death of the previous press secretary Artsvin Baghramyan, the position of press secretary has been vacant for a long time, creating difficulties for journalists in obtaining official comments.
The appointment of Karen Hakobyan is expected to be announced officially in February, the daily says.-0-
