Mirzoyan-Bayramov meeting to be held in Russia as well - head of Armenian National Assembly committee
YEREVAN, May 2. /ARKA/. Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov will also have a meeting in Moscow, Arman Yeghoyan, head of the Armenian parliamentary committee on European integration issues from the ruling Civil Contract party said today.
"There is a preliminary agreement that Mirzoyan and Bayramov will have a meeting in the Russian capital as well (after meeting in the USA),' Yeghoyan said.
The United States is hosting negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan that kicked off on Monday.
On Sunday US Secretary of State Antony Blinken held a dinner with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov after separate meetings with the ministers in Washington.
The US diplomat then kicked off the expected four days of talks between the two sides at a State Department facility outside Washington.
‘Dialogue is key to reaching a lasting peace in the South Caucasus region,' Blinken said in a tweet.
According to Yeghoyan, the Mirzoyan-Bayramov talks will last four days because of a wide range of issues to be discussed. -0-
