Nikolay Rizhkov: Armenia’s new government able to solve social and economic problems

10.11.2016, 14:31

YEREVAN, November 10. /ARKA/. Nikolay Rizhkov, a member of Russia’s Federation Council, is convinced that the Armenia’s new government is able to solve social and economic problems in the country.

Speaking for journalists in Yerevan, he said that there are many problems in Armenia, but social troubles are gravest.

“We know that about 30 percent of the country’s population lives in penury,” he said. “This is bad. Pople should live decently.”

Rizhkov expressed hope that the new prime minister and his team will find ways for developing the economy.

“And second – I want to wish Armenia political achievements, which will take place in April, when a new parliament will be elected,” he said.

He expressed hope that new forces will enter it and the backbone, which, in his opinion, worked well, will remain.
