NKR parliament speaker and AAA officials discussed cooperation

Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) parliament speaker Ashot Ghulyan met yesterday in Yerevan with the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) Carolyn Mugar and the co-chair of the organization, Anthony Barsamian, the press service of the NKR parliament said today.
STEPANAKERT, October 15. / ARKA /. Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) parliament speaker Ashot Ghulyan met yesterday in Yerevan with the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) Carolyn Mugar and the co-chair of the organization, Anthony Barsamian, the press service of the NKR parliament said today.
It said the parties discussed possible areas of cooperation between Armenian organizations in the United States of America and NKR government agencies and parliament.
During the meeting the sides were said to have exchanged views on regional security issues and socio-economic life in Artsakh (the Armenian name of Karabakh). The meeting was attended also by the regional director of the Armenian Assembly of America Arpi Vardanyan.
On the same day Ashot Ghulyan participated in a tree planting event in memory of the first US ambassador to Armenia Harry Gilmor in Parakar Park.-0-
