No risky clauses for Armenia in draft peace treaty with Azerbaijan, all provisions are bilateral – Speaker

YEREVAN, March 17. /ARКА/. There are no dangerous points for Armenia in the draft peace treaty with Azerbaijan, stated the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan.
"All points are bilateral. If someone considers (any) point dangerous, it is equally dangerous for Azerbaijan," he told reporters.
Regarding the publication of the draft peace treaty, Simonyan noted that it will be made public "when we understand the appropriate timing and logic for its release, and when the moment is right."
"There will be discussions. We do not want to take any unilateral actions to once again demonstrate that Armenia is not shooting at Azerbaijan, that Armenia has no territorial claims, and that Armenia is a trustworthy partner, including for international colleagues," the Speaker added.
On the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan
On March 13, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the draft of the Treaty "On the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan" had been agreed upon, and the negotiations on its approval had been completed. The Ministry stated that the document is ready for signing, and Yerevan is prepared to begin consultations with Baku regarding the timing and location of the signing.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also stated on March 13 that the current content of the draft peace treaty with Azerbaijan can be considered an acceptable option of mutual concessions for Armenia. According to him, two points in the draft treaty, on which the parties had not reached an agreement for some time but finally found a compromise, concern the non-deployment of third-country forces along the entire length of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and the mutual withdrawal of lawsuits filed against each other in international courts, as well as the non-implementation of any actions against each other. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had previously pointed out these two disagreements.
