Armenian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tigran Balayan, referring the information received from Egypt's authorities, reports on his Facebook page that there are no Armenian citizens among the Islamic State members arrested in Egypt.

Earlier, RIA Novosti reported referring to Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper that Egypt’s policy arrested six Islamic State members, who came from Libya for preparing terrorist acts in touristic centers.
According to the newspaper, the arrested men are a Tajik army colonel, citizens of Armenia, Belarus, Serbia, Syria, Iran and one Egyptian man.
«Answering the Armenian embassy's request, Egypt's authorities confirmed that there are no Armenian citizens among the arrested Islamic State members,» Balayan said.
