Opening of III Armenia-Russia inter-regional forum to be attended by presidents

Armenia’s and Russia’ presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin will take the floor at the opening ceremony for Armenian-Russian III inter-regional forum entitled “Russia. Armenia. Customs Union” on December 2 in the second biggest city of Armenia Giumry, Novosti-Armenia reported.

Putin will take the floor at the opening ceremony for Armenian-Russian III inter-regional forum entitled “Russia. Armenia. Customs Union” on December 2 in the second biggest city of Armenia Giumry, Novosti-Armenia reported.
The aim of the forum is to reveal new opportunities for cooperation and development in the framework of Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union.
The key reports will be made by Armenia’s premier and co-chair of Armenia-Russia intergovernmental commission Tigran Sargsyan and the Russian co-chair Maksim Sokolov. Armenia’s minister of finance David Sargsyan and Russia’s minister of regional development Igor Sluniaev are also expected to take the floor at the opening.
Other speakers are member of key integration directions and microeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tatiana Valova, Armenia’s first deputy minister of economy Karine Minasyan, deputy minister of territorial management Vache Terterian, Russia’s deputy minister of regional development Sergey Nazarov and presidents of the two countries’ trade and industry chambers.
Exhibitions, Russia’s and Armenia’s friends’ parliament club meeting and round-table discussions on raising competitiveness will be held as part of the forum.
The presidents will attend the inter-regional exhibitions in Giumry, cancel postage stamps on Sochi Olympiad and take party in a space bridge on the new unit of Hrazdan heat plant.
Russia’s Putin is arriving in Yerevan Monday to have negotiations with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan, to visit the 102th Russian military base and participate in the third Russian-Armenian inter-regional forum. –0--
