OSCE monitoring of Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact found no accidents

The planned OSCE monitoring of the line of contact between Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) and Azerbaijan near Horadiz village, Hadrut direction, found no accidents, the press office of NKR’s foreign ministry reported.

STEPANAKERT, May 22. /ARKA/. The planned OSCE monitoring of the line of contact between Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) and Azerbaijan near Horadiz village, Hadrut direction, found no accidents, the press office of NKR’s foreign ministry reported. 

The monitoring was agreed upon with the NKR authorities. Field assistants to Personal Representative of OSCE Chairman-in-Office Yevgeniy Sharov (Ukraine) and Hristo Hristov (Bulgaria) monitored the situation from the Karabakh Army of Defense side. 

Staff member of the office of the Personal Representative of OSCE Chairman-in-Office Peter Swedberg (Sweden) and personal assistant to the Personal Representative of OSCE Chairman-in-Office Simon Tiller (Great Britain) carried out the monitoring from the opposite side. 

The monitoring was carried out as per the schedule, and no truce violations were recorded. Yet, the Azeri side has not taken the mission to its frontline. 

The Karabakh side observers were accompanied by representatives of NKR’s ministry of defense and the ministry of foreign affairs. –0—
