OSCE monitoring of Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact scheduled for Wednesday

The OSCE mission is to carry out regular monitoring of the line of contact between Nagorno Karabakh army of defense and Azerbaijan’s armed forces north to Talish village, Martakert of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the press office of NKR’s foreign ministry reported.
YEREVAN, July 1. /ARKA/. The OSCE mission is to carry out regular monitoring of the line of contact between Nagorno Karabakh army of defense and Azerbaijan’s armed forces north to Talish village, Martakert of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the press office of NKR’s foreign ministry reported.
The monitoring has been agreed upon with NKR’s authorities, according to the report.
OSCE Chairman-in-Office Hristo Hristov (Bulgaria) and Irji Aberle (Czech Republic), as well as representative of the office of Personal Representative to OSCE Chairman-in-Office Peter Swedberg will carry out the monitoring on the positions of NKR’s army of defense. Personal Representative to OSCE Chairman-in-Office ambassador Andjey Kasprshik and his field assistant Yevgeniy Sharov (Ukraine) will monitor the positions of the opposite side.
NKR’s authorities expressed willingness to support the monitoring and ensure the security of the OSCE mission members, according to the report. –0—
