Pashinyan: signing a peace treaty with Baku will help solve the problem of Armenian prisoners

YEREVAN, March 5. /ARКА/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan believes that signing a peace treaty with Baku "will help solve all the problems."

"When you talk about the prisons of a country with which we are preparing to sign a peace treaty, then the efforts aimed at signing a peace treaty are one of the steps that, in addition to statements, can and most likely will contribute to the solution of this problem and all problems in general," Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, asked in parliament today what exactly, in addition to statements, the Armenian government is doing to have Armenian prisoners convicted in Azerbaijan freed.

Pashinyan noted that in addition to statements, Armenia continues to remain committed to the peace agenda, since, according to him, a peaceful environment can contribute to the solution of the problem.

He also said he was not a one-man prime minister and his job was to respect the interests of all citizens while paying reasonable attention to the concerns of separate individuals.-0-
