Pashinyan: Armenia views its relations with Georgia as strategic
YEREVAN, March 3. /ARKA/. The governments of Armenia and Georgia are taking clear steps to implement the agreements they have reached, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a meeting with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Gakharia in Tbilisi on Tuesday.

"We view our relations with Georgia as strategic. A broad cooperation framework has been established between our countries, but we consider regional relations, relations with our neighbors, friends, and Georgia in a completely different plane," he said.

According to the prime minister, the Armenian-Georgian relations have strengthened even more thanks to the commitment of the two peoples to democratic development.

"I am convinced that this fact adds another important cornerstone to the existing solid foundation," he said.

The prime minister admitted that over the past 1.5 years, it has really been possible to achieve a new quality and a new level of cooperation with Georgia.

“I want to emphasize this result and say with confidence that this visit and its results will further strengthen it,” Pashinyan emphasized.

Gakharia, in turn, noted that Armenia and Georgia at the level of governments work on a daily basis to deepen bilateral friendly relations even more.

“We live in a complex region and understand that stability in the region is necessary for the development of our countries. First of all, we must take care of peace for our countries, then about new economic, political, cultural and all existing issues,” he said. -0-
