Pashinyan congratulates Putin on the occasion of Victory and Peace Day

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent today a congratulatory message to the Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the Victory and Peace Day, the press office of the Armenian government reported.

YEREVAN, May 9. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent today a congratulatory message to the Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the Victory and Peace Day, the press office of the Armenian government reported.
"Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich! Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on our common holiday - the 74th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War,” Pashinyan’s message says.
The prime minister says that this holiday is the embodiment of the great victory and a symbol of collective struggle and heroism of all the peoples of the former Soviet Union.
“The exploits of our fathers and grandfathers who defeated fascism will forever remain in the heroic history of our peoples as an example of courage and perseverance for present and future generations,” the message says.
The Prime Minister of Armenia expressed confidence that “our friendship, which has passed the test of war, and the community of values are a solid basis for strategic partnership and cooperation between Armenia and Russia.”
“Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, on this bright holiday, I wish you, your family and all Russians good health, well-being and prosperity,” the message says.
May 9 is celebrated in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh as a triple holiday - Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, Shushi Liberation Day and the Karabakh Defense Army Day. -0-
