President Serzh Sargsyan awarded today Sergei Naryshkin, the chairman of Russian State Duma (lower chamber of parliament) the Armenian Medal of Honor, Sargsyan’s press service reported.

YEREVAN, March 31. / ARKA /. President Serzh Sargsyan awarded today Sergei Naryshkin, the chairman of Russian State Duma (lower chamber of parliament) the Armenian Medal of Honor, Sargsyan’s press service reported.

It said the medal was awarded in recognition of Naryshkin’s significant contribution to the deepening of Armenian-Russian relations.

The Medal of Honor is awarded for outstanding achievements in the protection of state and national interests of the Republic of Armenia, for supporting its independence and democracy, for the strengthening and development of friendship with the Republic of Armenia, as well as for significant contribution to the strengthening of peace among nations. -0-
