President Sargsyan condoles the death of ambassador to UK

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan conveyed his condolences to the family of Karine Ghazinyan, Armenia’s ambassador to the United Kingdom due to her untimely death, the presidential press service reported.

YEREVAN, December 6. / ARKA /. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan conveyed his condolences to the family of Karine Ghazinyan, Armenia’s ambassador to the United Kingdom due to her untimely death, the presidential press service reported.
"The president expressed his sympathy and support to the family, relatives and friends of Karine Ghazinyan," it said in a statement.
Karine Ghazinyan was born in 1955 in Yerevan. She graduated from the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology of Foreign Languages Faculty of Yerevan State University and School of Management at Harvard University.
She worked at the Soviet embassies in Mozambique and Portugal, served as ambassador of Armenia in Romania (1999 - 2001) and Germany (2001-2009). In 2009-2011, she was deputy foreign minister. On September 8, 2011 she was appointed ambassador to Great Britain.-0-
