President Sargsyan discussed illegal migration issues with CSTO secretary general and FMS head

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had a meeting today with Nikolay Bordyuzha, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and Konstantin Romodanovsky, Director of the Russian Federal Migration Service (FMS).

YEREVAN, February 5. / ARKA /. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had a meeting today with Nikolay Bordyuzha, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and Konstantin Romodanovsky, Director of the Russian Federal Migration Service (FMS).

Sargsyan’s press service said Bordyuzha and Romodanovsky had arrived in Armenia to participate in a meeting of the Coordinating Council of heads of agencies of CSTO member states combating illegal migration.

"The President welcomed the holding of the meeting in Yerevan, stressing the importance of the joint discussion of the problems and finding effective measures for joint fight against illegal migration," the press service said in a statement.

Bordyuzha and Romodanovsky were said to have spoken about the results of the discussions in Yerevan, noting that the agenda was quite busy.

President Sargsyan and CSTO Secretary General also discussed the implementation of the decisions that were taken during the Moscow session of the Collective Security Council in December 2014.

Nikolai Bordyuzha was said also to report about issues related to ensuring security in the Caucasus region of the CSTO.-0-
