Republican Party of Armenia doesn’t rule out long-term coalition with Dashnaktsutiun

Vahram Baghdasaryan, the head of the faction of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia in the National Assembly, speaking Friday in parliamentary briefings, said the party is considering prospects for long-term cooperation with the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/Dashnaktsutyun in coalition, since it finds short-term cooperation not effective.

YEREVAN, February 5. /ARKA/. Vahram Baghdasaryan, the head of the faction of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia in the National Assembly, speaking Friday in parliamentary briefings, said the party is considering prospects for long-term cooperation with the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/Dashnaktsutyun in coalition, since it finds short-term cooperation not effective.
Baghdasaryan is quoted by Novosti-Armenia as saying that the ministerial posts are not being negotiated so far and the parties are just outlining the areas of responsibility.
Aghvan Vardanyan, head of Dashnaktsutiun party’s faction in the National Assembly, said earlier that “any scheme of cooperation with the Republican Party of Armenia implies concurrence in working and decision-making process”. --0----
