YEREVAN, February 3. / ARKA /. Ruben Hakobyan was elected head of the parliamentary faction of the Zharangutyun (Heritage) opposition party and Tevan Poghosyan was elected secretary of the faction, parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan said today at a recurrent parliament session.

Former head of the faction, Zaruhi Postanjian, will spend several months in the United States.

She was selected for a five-month course offered by the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, together with some other Armenian professionals. Ruben Hakobyan already held the position, but quit it in October 2013. -0-
