Russia and Armenia are strategic allies in many directions, including integration processes within the Eurasian area, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday, as quoted by Novosti-Armenia referring to RIA Novosti.
YEREVAN, June 23. /ARKA/. Russia and Armenia are strategic allies in many directions, including integration processes within the Eurasian area, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday, as quoted by Novosti-Armenia referring to RIA Novosti.
“We exchange official visits, meet regularly in Moscow and other capitals”, Lavrov said in the beginning of the talks with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandyan.
Nalbandyan said the sides are ahead of a rich dialogue. “We meet often, and our meetings are always meaningful”, Armenian foreign minister said. This time is not an exception: a range of bilateral, regional and international issues will be discussed, Nalbandyan said. The most important matter on the agenda is implementations of the agreements reached by the presidents, he said. –0--
