YEREVAN, April 9. /ARKA/. Russian senior official Sergei Ivanov congratulated Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan on re-election and wished him further achievements.

“I have known Serzh Azatovich for a long time, to be honest, since the past century,” Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office said as he attended the inauguration ceremony of Sargsyan in Yerevan.

He noted both of them have somehow similar experiences, both of them worked in national security structures , then were at the helm of Defense Ministries, were secretaries of security councils in their countries.

“We have much in common, I respect him very much and wish him good luck,” Ivanov responded to ARKA. -0-
