Russian citizens who have also Armenian citizenship and permanently reside in the Republic of Armenia are not required to notify their dual citizenship until their entry into the territory of the Russian Federation, the Russian Embassy in Armenia said in a statement placed on its official website.

"The Russian Embassy in Armenia, and representatives of the Federal Migration Service of Russia in Armenia do not accept and do not consider such notifications,” stressed the embassy.
Since August, Russian citizens who have a second passport or a permanent residency permit abroad have been required to disclose details of their situation to the Federal Migration Service upon first re-entering Russia. -0-
