On December 2 Russia’s president Vladimir Putin will arrive in Armenia on a state visit at the invitation of his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan, Sargsyan’s press office reported.

YEREVAN, November 27. / ARKA /. On December 2 Russia’s president Vladimir Putin will arrive in Armenia on a state visit at the invitation of his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan, Sargsyan’s press office reported.

It said in Armenia Putin and Sargsyan will take part in several events in Yerevan and Gyumri, including an Armenian- Russian business forum. They will also visit the 102nd Russian military base stationed in Gyumri.

Then the sides will have bilateral talks in Yerevan to discuss the status of agreements reached during Sargsyan’s visit to Russia on September 3. The two sides will also exchange views on further steps in the process of Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union. The sides will also sign a number of documents aimed at strengthening of bilateral relations and deepening cooperation.

The results of the visit will be announced during the presidents’ meeting with the media. -0-
