YEREVAN, October 30. / ARKA /. The head of the Federation Council (the upper chamber of Russian parliament) of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matvienko will arrive in Armenia November 2 on a two-day official visit at the invitation of Armenian parliament speaker Galust Sahakyan.

In Yerevan she is scheduled to have meetings with president Serzh Sargsyan, Galust Sahakyan, prime minister Hovik Abrahamyan and head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

In the Armenian capital Matvienko will participate in the opening ceremony of the fourth Armenian-Russian inter-regional forum.
