YEREVAN, October 12. /ARKA/. Serzh Sargsyan, Armenian president, signed a decree on Wednesday, dismissing Viktor Dallakyan as deputy head of the presidential administration.

Dallakyan was also the president’s representative in the National Assembly.

In recent days, he told journalists that he decided to resign and also to quit the Republican Party of Armenia and start an active political activity ahead of the 2017 parliamentary elections.

Dallakyan criticized the authorities’ internal and foreign policies.

Rumors are going around that Dallakyan has established a party called Shrjadardz.

Dallakyan was a member of the National Assembly from 1995 to 2012. Over a period between 1998 and 2008, when Robert Kocharyan ruled the country, Dallakyan has been in opposition to then authorities.

In 2012, before parliamentary elections, he joined the Republican Party of Armenia, but failed to obtain a seat in the National Assembly, since tried to get it in individual race, not through the party list, and came behind his rival, Edmon Marukyan. --0---
