YEREVAN, May 7. / ARKA /. President Serzh Sargsyan sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai concerning the landslide occurred in Afghanistan’s Badakhshan province which left numerous people dead.

In his telegram to President Karzai and the friendly Afghan people, Serzh Sargsyan extended his cordial condolences and wished the victims’ relatives and close friends steadfastness and strong spirit, while the injured a speedy recovery.

The estimated number of dead on Saturday has surpassed 2500 people, the local officials said.

Armenia has no intention of leaving the EAEU - Khandanyan
