Orinats Erkir Party (Country of Law), one of the three ruling coalition parties, will have “Trust so as we build legal Armenia” slogan in the parliamentary elections on May 6.
YEREVAN, March 5. /ARKA/. Orinats Erkir Party (Country of Law), one of the three ruling coalition parties, will have “Trust so as we build legal Armenia” slogan in the parliamentary elections on May 6, Arthur Baghdasaryan, Orinats Erkir Party leader, Secretary of Council of National Security of Armenia, said Saturday at the Party’s congress.
He also said that Orinats Erkir electoral list will include many young people. “Our insight of Armenia’s future is a liberal, European system, that can be formed only by changing the generations in the political field.
That is why there will be many young representatives in our electoral list,” he reported. Baghdasaryan confirmed his Party’s readiness to support all initiatives by President Serge Sargsyan, and added that the ruling coalition is upheld by Armenian population and will be able to win in the elections. “Orinats Erkir has never cheated its voters, but sometimes there was some misunderstanding,” he said.
“Orinats Erkir was founded 15 years ago, and led hard struggle throughout this period. The party has been represented in all newly elected parliaments since 1997. All our politic biography is an idiosyncratic struggle. Due to the Party’s reasonableness, in 2008 we formed a political coalition, that saved the country from new shocks,” he said.
“Today the country’s social system rather sets problems than solves them… The slogan of our daily life should be “can’t help, don’t bother,” he added.
He also said that the Party has over 150 thousand members.
Serge Sargsyan, President of Armenia, was present at the tenth congress of Orinats Erkir. Orinats Erkir, a centrist political party of Armenia, headed by Arthur Baghdasaryan, Secretary of Council of National Security of Armenia, former speaker of National Assembly, is one of the three riling coalition parties represented in the parliament. The coalition, including also Republican and Prosperous Armenia parties, was formed on March 21, 2008.--0--
