The Hague-based UN Court of Justice on Tuesday rejected two preliminary objections submitted by Baku in the Armenia v. Azerbaijan case regarding the application of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.

YEREVAN, 12 November. /ARKA/. The Hague-based UN Court of Justice on Tuesday rejected two preliminary objections submitted by Baku in the Armenia v. Azerbaijan case regarding the application of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.

Armenia accuses Azerbaijan of crimes committed against Armenians, including murder, torture and inhuman treatment.

Azerbaijan filed a counterclaim against Armenia. On 21 August 2023; Armenia submitted its written objections and position on Azerbaijan's preliminary objections.

On 15-19 April this year, public hearings on the preliminary objections were held. --0--
