Union of Artsakh Volunteers provides AMD 543 million to Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s army

The Union of Artsakh Volunteers, on the initiative of its chairman, Major General Samvel Karapetyan, has provided AMD 543 million (about $1.1 million) to Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s army, the press office of the Nagorno-Karabakh defense ministry reported on Monday.
YEREVAN, April 25. /ARKA/. The Union of Artsakh Volunteers, on the initiative of its chairman, Major General Samvel Karapetyan, has provided AMD 543 million (about $1.1 million) to Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s army, the press office of the Nagorno-Karabakh defense ministry reported on Monday.
From the very beginning of the assaults Azerbaijani have launched in Karabakh conflict zone, the union took part strengthening the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s defense.
The union is periodically coming up with initiatives aimed at making the republic’s defense stronger.
On April 2, 2016 Azerbaijan launched military assaults along the entire perimeter of its contact line with Nagorno Karabakh.
A ceasefire arrangement was reached four days later. --0---
