YEREVAN, March 20. / ARKA /. A joint proposal of a vote of no confidence in the government reconciled by the parliamentary minority is the first stage in their efforts to oust the president and gradual change of power, Lyudmila Sarkisan from the oppositional Armenian National Congress said.
The parliamentary factions of the Prosperous Armenia Party, the Armenian National Congress, Armenian Revolutionary Federation/ Dashnaktsutyun and Zharangutyun parties, which control between them more than a third of the 131 seats in the National Assembly, decided to put forward the motion of censure on April 28.
"We have managed to shape a single agenda and conduct extensive discussions in the parliament, involving also representatives of the majority. We inform the public about the flaws in the majority-backed bills. Vote of no confidence and our demand that the Cabinet resigns will be a major step in the gradual change of power," she said. -0-
