YEREVAN, May 16. /ARKA/. Baku and Yerevan are very close to reaching an agreement, says EC Vice-President, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.

“The EU expects the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia to be signed as soon as possible,” Kallas told reporters before the start of the European Political Community summi in Tirana, Albania, Armenian Public Television reported.

Kallas believes that signing the peace treaty as soon as possible is in the interests of all sides.

The head of Eurodiplomacy also said that she will meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan within the framework of the European Political Community summit in Tirana, adding that she will visit Armenia in the near future, reported Armenpress.-0-
