YEREVAN, December 2. / ARKA /. A Yerevan subway station «Marshal Baghramyan" located opposite Armenian presidential palace in downtown Yerevan will be closed for some time, according to an employee of the facility.

She said the station is closed in connection with the visit of Russian president Vladimir Putin.

Earlier Monday, the ministry of emergency situations said an explosive device was found at the same station, but later the report proved to be false.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Armenia on December 2 on a state visit. -0-
