15.5% less real estate transactions in Armenia in 2015 than in 2014

Some 180,994 real estate transactions were registered in Armenia in 2015 - 15.5% less than in 2014, the State Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia reports.

YEREVAN, February 22. /ARKA/. Some 180,994 real estate transactions were registered in Armenia in 2015 - 15.5% less than in 2014, the State Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia reports.
The largest number of real estate transactions was registered in Yerevan – 34.4% of the total number of deals in Armenia in 2015, and the smallest number was registered in Vayots Dzor province – 2.9%.
Kotayk province accounted for 11.6% of the total, number, Ararat and Lori provinces for 7.8% each, Armavir for 7.4%, Shirak for 6.4%, Gegharkunik for 6.3%, Syunik for 5.5%, Aragatsotn for 5.3% and Tavush for 4.6%.
According to the report, immovable property alienation transactions made up 27.6% of the total number of the real estate transactions registered in Armenia in 2015, primary registrations made up 11.9% of the total number, inheritance transactions 11.3%, mortgage transactions 9.8%, leasing 3.9% and other state registrations 35.5%. --0---
