A total of 211 laboratory tests for detection of coronavirus were conducted in Armenia, of which only one was positive, Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan stated at a meeting of the interagency commission coordinating efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
YEREVAN, March 10. /ARKA/. A total of 211 laboratory tests for detection of coronavirus were conducted in Armenia, of which only one was positive, Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan stated at a meeting of the interagency commission coordinating efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The press service of the Ministry of Health reported that 857 drivers, of whom 228 are Iranian citizens, are under control throughout Armenia, including in the customs warehouses of the State Revenue Committee, until they return to their country. Regarding drivers who are citizens of Armenia, control is carried out at the place of their residence.
It is also noted that the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention has created a 24-hour Operational Call Center. The center’s number is 060 83 83 00.
The first case of new coronavirus was confirmed in Armenia on March 1. The patient is a 29-year-old Armenian man who was airlifted from Iran with his wife on February 28. Thirty Armenian citizens who have had contacts with the infected man have been quarantined at the Golden Palace Hotel located in the resort town of Tsaghkadzor. All of them feel good. -0---
