YEREVAN, August 17. /ARKA/. Fourteen Armenian universities and organizations rendering services in education sphere were included in the list of 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia by the results of the 1st half year of 2011 paying over 1.6 billion drams to the state budget, informs the site of the Armenian Education and Science Ministry based on the data of State Revenue Committee of Armenia.
According to the data, the leader on payment of taxes is Yerevan State University of Armenia (102nd place in the list of large taxpayers) which paid about 400 million drams to the state budget.
In the group of three among the leaders is also Yerevan State medical University named after M.Heratsi (157th place with 257.4 million drams) and Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Abovyan (266th place with 152.8 million drams).
In total 1000 large taxpayers if Armenia paid over 232.5 billion drams in January-June vs. 209.2 billion drams in the same period of 2010. ($1 – 367.66 drams). -0-
