Some 4,308 real estate mortgage transactions were registered in Armenia in the second half of 2020, according to the report of the country's Cadastre Committee.

YEREVAN, August 20. /ARKA/. Some 4,308 real estate mortgage transactions were registered in Armenia in the second half of 2020, according to the report of the country's Cadastre Committee.
Compared to Q2 2019, the number of transactions has decreased by 48.9%.
During the reporting period, the largest number of transactions was registered in Yerevan - 49.7% of the total, and the smallest - in Vayots Dzor region - 1.6%.
According to the report, 12.1% of the total number of transactions have been registered in the Kotayk province, 7.3% in Ararat, 5.6% in Armavir, 5.5% in Lori, 4.4% in Shirak, 3.9% in Syunik, 3.5% in Gegharkunik, 3.3% in Aragatsotn and in 3% in Tavush.
Of the total number of real estate mortgage transactions, 46.4% are related to apartments, 25.3% to private residential buildings, 11.1% to public buildings, 10.9% to land, 5.4% to buildings industrial value and 0.9% to garages. -0-
