Armenian government granted apartments to Armenians who have fled their homes in Azerbaijan and now live in Yerevan and Abovyan, governmental press office reports.
YEREVAN, December 27. /ARKA/. Armenian government granted apartments to Armenians who have fled their homes in Azerbaijan and now live in Yerevan and Abovyan, governmental press office reports.
In particular, those refugees enjoying Armenian citizenship become owners of the premises they occupy.
Land strips, on which the buildings located, will belong to the refugees as well.
Migration Agency says 360 000 Armenian refugees have come from Azerbaijan over the period between 1988 and 1992. Other 140 000 Armenians have taken refuge in CIS countries.
80 000 have got Armenian citizenship upon achieving full age.
120 000 Armenians have obtained citizenship in other countries.-0----
