YEREVAN, March 7. /ARKA/. About 40,000 electronic prescriptions have already been issued after the introduction of the new system in Armenia, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan told a press briefing.

"This shows that the new system is working normally," she said.

Prescriptions for medicines have been written electronically since March 1. The Armenian government has approved a list of 470 medicines that will be available in pharmacies only through electronic prescriptions. -0-
