In 2016, 7,886 private entrepreneurs in Armenia ceased to operate, according to the Ministry of Justice.

About 8,000 private entrepreneurs in Armenia ceased to operate in 2016
YEREVAN, January 18. /ARKA/. In 2016, 7,886 private entrepreneurs in Armenia ceased to operate, according to the Ministry of Justice.

According to Armenia’s State Register of Legal Entities of the Ministry of Justice,  in 2016 the ministry registered  3,417 limited liability companies, 68 closed joint stock companies, 6 public companies, 10 state non-profit organizations, 3 cooperatives, 32 public non-profit organizations, 54 agricultural cooperatives and 13,095 private entrepreneurs, of which 1,818 were re-registered.

It also registered 290 non-governmental organizations, 8 political parties,  6 associations of legal entities, 104 foundations,  9 professional organizations, one religious organization, 10 state administrative agencies, 16 provincial administrative agencies and  57 consumer cooperatives.

The ministry earned 160 million drams in registration fee. It also took account of 17 newspapers and 6 magazines. ($ 1 486.32 drams). -0-
