In addition, driving a car during the winter season will be prohibited if the tire tread depth is less than 4 mm. At the same time, the use of studded tires on vehicles will be banned during the summer months.
If a violation is detected, a fine of 5,000 drams will be imposed. If the violator's vehicle is involved in an accident, the fine increases to 20,000 drams. ($1 = 391.63 drams).
