Armenian government expands the list of public services provided by banks and post offices

The Armenian government has expanded today the list of public services provided by banks and post offices.

YEREVAN March 2. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has expanded today the list of public services provided by banks and post offices. Since November, 2016 Armenian citizens have been able to apply for public services (information and documents) to banks and post offices. Currently, these services are provided by six operators: the national postal operator HayPost as well as Ameriabank, Ardshinbank, Converse Bank, Anelik Bank and Armeconombank.
The list of new services includes obtaining confirmation of status of refugee from Azerbaijan, submission of applications and documents to the State Migration Service and other services. Justice minister Arpine Hovhannisyan said 39 offices, of which 14 in Yerevan are providing currently 67 types of public services. According to her, the list will be added soon by another 42 services.
"We call on the citizens to use the services of these offices, and save their time and resources," Hovhannisyan said.
The list of services includes registration of commercial enterprises and private entrepreneurs, NGOs, foundations, separate divisions of legal entities, registration of Armenian representative offices of foreign NGOs.
The operators are also taking applications for liquidation and reorganization of legal entities. Banks and post office can also issue paper copies of charters of legal entities. Citizens will be able to register the rights to movable property. -0-
