The Armenian government will hold its extraordinary session tomorrow in Gyumri, Armenian Acting Deputy Premier Ararat Mirzoyan said on Thursday.

YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. The Armenian government will hold its extraordinary session tomorrow in Gyumri, Armenian Acting Deputy Premier Ararat Mirzoyan said on Thursday.
On December 7, 2018, Armenian people will mark the 30th anniversary of the Spitak Earthquake.
The 1988 earthquake reduced to rubble the cities of Spitak and Gyumri (Leninakan formerly) and nearby villages. Some other cities were destroyed partially.
This 10-magnitude quake took 25,000 lives and rendered 140,000 disabled and 500,000 homeless.
“We intend to hold our session in Gyumri and we have already recalled all the ministers from leave to have all of them present at the session,” Mirzoyan said.
