YEREVAN, December 5. /ARKA/. Armenian health authorities recorded 91 new cases of coronavirus from November 28 to December 4, down from 106 new cases recorded a week earlier, the Ministry of Health reported.

Two people were said to have died from COVID-19 during the reporting week (one COVID-19 death had been recorded a week earlier).

According to the ministry, some 2,386 PCR tests were performed last week and 113 infected people recovered. As many as 283 COVID-19 infected people are still undergoing treatment, it said.

So far, 445,828 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the country of 3 million and 434,979 of the infected have recovered. The death toll from the disease stands now at 8,712. Overall, 3,237,561 PCR tests have been carried out.

The Ministry of Health also reported that 2,275,346 coronavirus vaccines have been administered in the country with 1,155,126 people receiving the first dose, 1,030,292 receiving the second dose, and 83,842 receiving the third, booster doze. -0-
